Hi. My name is Tammie Williams, piano teacher and owner of Tammie's Music Studio. My music studio offers lessons in piano and guitar to students in the Mesa, Gilbert, and surrounding cities in AZ. The teachers here love music and wish to share that love and passion with others.
The teachers are highly qualified and have had musical experience for 17+ years. Students have gone on to major in music in college, become music teachers themselves and even have become performers. I welcome the opportunity to teach music to all, including those whom may have learning disabilities. I have experience teaching piano lessons to students who are slow learners, ADHD and other types of disabilities. Some of the most talented individuals can excel beyond their disabilities and truly express themselves through the medium of music.
Piano and guitar lessons include individualized instruction focused on performance, theory, technique, sight reading and ear training. For those interested in performing opportunities, recitals are held twice a year. Guitar lessons and piano lessons may be taken by students of all ages. Piano lessons may be taken as young as 4 years old - and guitar lessons as young as 8 years old. Many adults find it beneficial to begin guitar lessons or piano lessons as well - realizing that doing so improves focus, mental clarity, memory, fine motor skills, and hand coordination - just to name a few. I strive to provide a patient and encouraging learning experience.
Piano lessons and guitar lessons are offered in the comfort of my home studio in Mesa, AZ 85204 (neighboring the Gilbert and Mesa, AZ border) - located near the Superstition 60 Freeway and Val Vista Dr. (Serving the East Valley including Mesa, Gilbert, Tempe, Chandler, and Scottsdale, Arizona). Piano lessons or guitar Lessons may be scheduled Monday through Saturday between the hours of 11:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Rates are $15.00 for 30 minutes.
The music teachers here love teaching piano lessons and guitar lessons. My desire, as a music teacher, is that our enthusiasm is felt by the over 60 students and their families who are currently enrolled in the music programs learning to play piano and guitar. We see it as a privilege to teach each and every one of them. There is nothing quite like learning to play the piano or guitar - it is one of the good things in life.
